Information on Kansas GOP Caucus Feb 9th

The KS GOP caucus is Saturday!
Don’t forget. The Kansas Republican Party caucus is Saturday, February 9. Check-in will start at 9:00 am in Johnson, Shawnee, and Sedgwick counties. Check-in will begin at 9:30 am everywhere else. Caucusing will begin at 10:00 am.
Why do many news outlets say the Kansas caucus is today?
Kansas Democrats are caucusing on Tuesday. The Republicans will be caucusing on Saturday, February 9 when the eyes of the nation are watching to see if Kansas will be the determining factor in the Republican nomination.
What will happen on Saturday?
Once you are checked-in (you will need a photo ID), you can proceed to the main seating area of the caucus. The chair of the caucus will call the meeting to order around 10:00 AM. Following the introduction, there will be the opportunity for representatives from various campaigns to present information about their candidate. This will take a little about an hour.
Once all the representatives have had an opportunity to discuss their candidate, ballots will be distributed and you can vote.
Voting will be by secret ballot. You will only vote for 1 time for the candidate of your choice. The caucus should be over between noon and 1:00 pm.
